Animal Liberation Prisoner In Holland

"This morning in Loon op Zand an 24 years old activist got arrested this morning on suspicion of setting free hundreds of minks. The animals where in a furfarm in Stavenisse to be killed for their fur. In the night of March 14 to 15 a part of all the minks had a change on freedom. Many were recaptured and some died because they got hitted by cars. The number of survivors is still bigger than the number who would be on the furfarm.

The police is searching also his home. They hope they will find more evidence. Not only his house in Loon op Zand, but also a resident in Vught got search for evidence. The police suspectes that this man wasn't alone. The police is still searching to other potential suspects.

The "Revu' (a lifestyle magazine) was present during action and has publiced an article with photos of the action of the activists. This can be read this week in the Revu.
