"Come out to the Anarchist Cafe' on Saturday, April 25th, from 7pm-10pm. The Oakland based celtic/rock/hip hop group Beltane’s Fire will be performing live, as will spoken word poet Maus! from Santa Cruz, and local legend Brennus, with his brand of anarchist folk, (don't break out the sandals and granola just yet - we swear it's cool). Workshops will be presented by Modesto Copwatch, Needle Exchange, and the Women's Health Collective. Free food and literature tables will also be on hand. The event is totally free and totally outside, at 10th and J Street in Downtown Modesto. Also happening in the week, on Wednesday, April 22nd, we will be reading in our weekly reading group, the piece, 'Work, Community, Politics, War,' from prole.info. On Saturday, April 25th at 1pm, there will also be the monthly Modesto Anarcho general assembly.
If you are interested in coming into town and baring moral witnesses to our shenanigans, hit us up at: anarcho209@yahoo.com
This event is organized by those known to their enemies as the Modesto Anarcho Crew (MAC)."
