Greek Anarchists Strike Capitalist Temples

"[Anarchists] attacked department stores in Greece's second city of Thessaloniki Saturday, smashing display windows and spraying paint before fleeing, police said.

A police pursuit failed to catch the band of some 15 people, who were protesting at the arrest of two of their associates.

Overnight a bank in a district of the city was set alight with Molotov cocktails. Firemen extinguished the blaze.

Unidentified [revolutionaries] also hurled petrol bombs and explosive devices into a car showroom north of the Greek capital, destroying two luxury vehicles and damaging three others, police said."
