Spokeswoman Tracy Carson told News 5 that someone unplugged engine block heaters needed to get the buses started on extremely cold mornings, rendering 59 of 129 buses inoperable. Temperatures were below zero at the time.
The unplugged buses were discovered at about 5:45 a.m., and classes were cancelled about 20 minutes later."
